INX buys majority interest in Megaink Digital

Sakata Inx signs an agreement with the ownership group of Czech Republic-based Megaink Digital a.s., to take a majority interest in company. Megaink Digital will provide a range of digital-ink products and services as a member of INX Digital, the digital arm of INX International Ink Co. (www.inxink.com).

“We’re delighted to join forces with an established, European-based leader in digital ink systems,” says INX International president and CEO Rick Clendenning. “Megaink Digital will strengthen our ability to service digital-printing operations worldwide—particularly in rapidly growing areas such as Eastern Europe, as well as the Americas, and in Africa and the Middle East where Mega Digital has established a strong presence in just six years since the company was founded.”

“Digital users have been highly receptive to our superior-quality products which are specially designed for virtually all OEM printers,” adds Avi Bukai, Megaink Digital director of business development.

INX Digital offers a full complement of digital ink systems, advanced technologies and integration services through a confederation of member companies and affiliates. Offerings include inkjet inks and toner, application-specific electronics and equipment, software development, engineering design and total-system integration.

INX International Ink is the third largest producer of ink in North America with over 30 plants in the US and Canada, and a global supplier as part of Sakata Inx worldwide operations.
