GSI Technologies wins Printed Electronics Best Commercialization Award

Burr Ridge, IL-based functional printer GSI Technologies (www.eluminate.com) is honored with the Best Commercialization Award from IDTechEX Printed Electronics Europe (http://printedelectronics.idtechex.com/printedelectronics/en). More than 600 delegates from 28 countries were present at the IDTechEX event held last month in Dresden, Germany.

The Printed Electronics Awards are the industry’s premier accolade celebrating excellence in business achievement, innovation and success. The judges sought companies that had created a successful business selling printed electronic products.

GSI Technologies is a manufacturer of a variety of functional printed products including medical devices, smart-card inlays, printed displays, electroluminescent lamps and antennae. Its largest printed-electronics product line is a biomedical sensor with a production volume of greater than 1 billion units/yr and a % yield of >99.5%, monitored with real-time SPC and 100%-automated visual inspection.
