Are you underpaid?
Fifteen percent of converters think their annual pay is "significantly lower" than other professionals in the industry having the same responsibilities. That's only one finding from our 2008 Salary and Career Survey. (Read the full article now). On the other hand, 3% think their pay is "significantly higher." Where do you stand on the topic?
This year's survey added about a dozen more questions related to job satisfaction and career environment, so we've got a better view of how converters across 24 job titles in six end-product fields working at companies with $1 million to more than $100 million in annual sales think about their work.
Beyond whether one particular person or another thinks they're underpaid, pay is going up. Almost half of our survey respondents got raises of 1-3% this year. One out of six received 4-5% increases, and a lucky (or deserving) few got more than 10% pay hikes.
